- In cooperation with the 175th anniversary of Missouri Statehood and a way to honor our Pioneer forefathers, the Genealogical Society of Central Missouri offered a Pioneer Certificate for direct descendants of any person residing in central Missouri before 1880.
- The Certificate program is no longer offered, but we are pleased to provide a list of pioneers for whom certificates were given. Our vertical files include information about the families. If your ancestor is not on this list it just means a descendant did not apply to our program. We hope to bring this program back and welcome new submissions. Stay tuned.
